2018 PhysTEC Conference

February 9, 2018 - February 10, 2018 in College Park, Maryland at the American Center for Physics

The Physics Teacher Education Coalitions Annual Conference is the nation's largest meeting dedicated to the education of future physics teachers - featuring workshops on best practices, panel discussions by national leaders as well as excellent networking opportunities for physics teacher educators.

The conference will begin Friday, February 9 and end Saturday, February 10, 2017 at the American Center for Physics in College Park, MD. There will be kick-off activities Thursday evening

The workshop will be held jointly with the 2018 Building Thriving Programs Workshop.

Travel Support for Minority-Serving Institutions

We are committed to supporting faculty at minority-serving institutions that wish to become leaders in physics teacher preparation and are offering a limited number of stipends of up to $1000 to qualified US-based faculty to support travel to the conference. Applications to receive an MSI travel grant will be accepted on a rolling basis until registration for the conference closes.
