|Description:||Seattle Pacific University (SPU) is pleased to be hosting a Modeling workshop this July. This three-week workshop will thoroughly treat the pedagogy and content for the mechanics portion of a physics course.
Peer leaders for the workshop are Aaron Debbink of Indiana and Matt Randall of Renton, WA. Both peer leaders are Knowles Science Foundation Teaching Fellows.
The workshop is open to teachers nationwide. Priority is given to teachers in Washington State.

|Benefit Explanation:||The probable $200 fee barely covers the cost of instructional materials.
Credits or clock hours will also be available for a small fee.
The SPU Physics Department is currently negotiating with local school districts to provide a stipend to participating districts' teachers for successful completion of the course.
