Presentation includes motivations and goals of the Task Force, methods of data collection, and findings and recommendations.

If your campus produces two qualified physics
teachers per year, you are a Top 40 Physics Department.
• If you started producing three qualified physics teachers per year you would make a great contribution, but we all need to do better than that.
• The T-TEP report shows how others have created, operated and promoted successful physics teacher programs.
• An inadequate high-school physics enterprise harms all of us.
• To solve the problem we all must be part of the solution.
