2017 PhysTEC Conference

February 17, 2017 - February 18, 2017 in Atlanta, Georgia at the Hyatt Regency Atlanta

The Physics Teacher Education Coalitions Annual Conference is the nation's largest meeting dedicated to the education of future physics teachers - featuring workshops on best practices, panel discussions by national leaders as well as excellent networking opportunities for physics teacher educators.

The conference will begin Friday, February 17 and end Saturday, February 18, 2017.  There will be kick-off activities Thursday evening as well as a half day pre-conference session "Next Gen PET Workshop" offered from 1:00pm - 5:00pm on Thursday.

Half Day Pre-Conference! Next Generation Physics and Everyday Thinking (PET)

Adapting the Next Generation Physical Science and Everyday Thinking suite of curriculum materials for your own course(s)
In this workshop design part of or a complete NGSS-like course for prospective elementary teachers using the comprehensive and flexible set of Next Gen PET materials for students and instructors, and perhaps join a community of practice of Next Gen PET users focusing on student learning.
